OUR STORY

 

I was snack-less. There were plenty of tasty treats in stores, but none of them fit my diet. The options that did meet my needs tasted like sawdust.

Feeling defeated after tasting yet another disappointing snack

I finally got frustrated enough to make my own.

Ingredients in the first version of Swell

Armed with a basic granola recipe, the journey began. No ingredients were off limits and many frankenstein concoctions emerged from my oven. But persistence paid off.

Game changer. Starting to bake with lentils

After a year of experimenting, I arrived at the granola I was searching for. Lentils and beans instead of oats, half the total sugar, and, most importantly, certified tasty**. I had found my snack.

The final product

I started sharing my granola and learned that a lot people experienced the same problem I did. They encountered plenty of snacks, but were forced to choose. Taste or diet.

Our aim is balance. Simple, healthy ingredients with just enough sweetness. Satisfying, not decadent. Snacks you can feel good about. That’s Swell.
